Bismarck (AP) The North Dakota Supreme Court has announced all civil and criminal jury trials are postponed until July 1. The high court’s announcement Friday comes as the number of COVID-19 cases continue to surge in the state. Health officials reported 45 new cases of the cornonavirus on Friday, bringing the statewide total to 439. Ninety-seven of the cases have been reported since Wednesday. There have been nine deaths due to the coronavirus in the state but none were reported Friday. Health officials said there were 16 coronavirus patients who were hospitalized on Friday.
