Bismarck  The National Weather Service says, scattered thunderstorms are forecast late Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night.

Some storms could be severe in south central North Dakota and the James River valley, with wind gusts up to 70 mph and hail up to golf ball size possible.

Locally heavy rainfall and slow moving thunderstorms may lead to localized flooding.
