She began working at Job Service North Dakota in 1964 until retiring in 1994. After retiring she spent some winters in Arizona. She volunteered in the Jamestown Hospital gift shop and at St John’s Academy. She enjoyed traveling, reading, cross word puzzles, sewing, knitting, gardening, flowers, birds, trees, dancing, and playing cards.
Most important to Betty was her faith, family and friends. Betty’s strong sense of faith sustained her after her stroke and decline in health over the past two years. We would like to express our extreme gratitude to AMV for the love and care shown Mom during her stay.
