BISMARCK, N.D. (AP Jun 10, 2013) – Load restrictions have been lifted on most North Dakota highways.
Seasonal load limits guard against damage to roads made susceptible by the spring thaw. They’re lifted when roadbeds have stabilized enough to handle normal traffic.
The state Transportation Department says restrictions were lifted on most highways Monday. Some highways still have weight restrictions.
