..RED FLAG WARNING TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FOR MOST OF WESTERN AND CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA…
.Critical fire weather conditions are possible Tuesday afternoon
and evening across most of western and central North Dakota.
Relative humidity values as low as 20 percent, sustained
northwest winds of 25 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph, and dry
vegetation will create critical fire weather conditions. Any
fires that ignite could spread rapidly and become difficult to
control. Near critical fire danger may then return for Wednesday,
especially across western North Dakota.
On Tuesday morning Stutsman and Barnes Counties were in the Moderate Risk range.
