Marjourie Jane (Basner) Coles was born in Alma Michigan.  She was raised and educated in and around Valley City, North Dakota.

Marjourie was married twice and had 3 children, Margaret (Jon) Winkler, Mya Carnes and Michael Jr Carnes.

She is survived by her 3 children, one granddaughter and her siblings.
