Evelyn Kruse, 92, of Jamestown North Dakota, died on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Evelyn Wenzel was born on March 10, 1928 the daughter of John F. and Louise (Nelson) Wenzel, on a farm south of Windsor, ND. She moved with her family on a farm North of Wimbledon in 1928 and attended school in Courtenay, ND. Evelyn married William Kruse in 1945 for 13 years, then to Gary Job for two and a half years. She worked at the Donaldson Hotel in Fargo, ND in 1960, Central Dakota Nursing Home in 1962, and ND State Hospital in 1964. Evelyn moved to Ave Maria Nursing Home in October of 2016 where she remained until her death.

Her hobbies included music, especially playing the accordion, and horseback riding.

Evelyn is survived by her niece, Janel (Clint) Lowe, three nephews; Ricky (Cindy) Wenzel, Dale (Michelle) Wenzel, and Clarence O. Wenzel.

She was preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings.

Visitation: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Due to COVID19, the funeral service will be private.
