Orris W. (Bud) Kipp, was 98 years young, when he died Sept 28, 2020.
Bud was born July 7, 1922 in Kulm, ND, the son of M.E. Kipp and Leah E. (Teichmann) Kipp.
Bud attended the first four years of School in Kulm, then moved to Edgeley with his parents in 1932 and graduated from High School in Edgeley in 1941. Bud attended Dakota Business College in Fargo, ND and enlisted in the Army Signal Corps Reserve attending Signal Corps training at the University of ND and School of Mines in Rolla, Mo. After his discharge from the Signal Corps, he returned to Edgeley and joined his father in the automotive and implement business.
Bud married Bernice Scherweit in December of 1944 and continued to reside in Edgeley.
Bud was interested in aviation, hunting, pool, golf, and electronics. He was involved in the construction and servicing of the Edgeley Cable System, and at the age of 83 was still active in that system.
During the years he was active in Our Redeemers Lutheran Church, Lions Club, American Legion, Country Club, and the Edgeley Improvement Association. Bud served as airport manager for several years.
After retiring in 1986, he and Bernice spent their winters in Mesa, Az.
Bud is survived by two sons, Duane (Marilyn) Mandan, ND, and Dean (Tracy) Wahpeton, ND. Seven grandchildren: Dana, Renee, Daren, Steven, Mason, Allison, Carter and ten great grandchildren: Dalton, Tyler, Sophia, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Christian, Hannah, Addilyn, Barrett and Jaxon.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, one infant sister, one sister and his brother.

A service will be held at a later date.
