WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump Monday said his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani is “doing very well” after testing positive for the coronavirus. Trump says he spoke with Giuliani on Monday and that he had “no temperature.” The 76-year-old former New York mayor was exhibiting some symptoms and was admitted Sunday to Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He is the latest in Trump’s inner circle to contract the disease that is now surging across the country. Giuliani has traveled extensively to battleground states in an effort to help Trump subvert his election loss to Joe Biden. On many occasions, Giuliani has met with officials for hours at a time without wearing a mask.

Trump wished Giuliani a speedy recovery, tweeting on Sunday: “Get better soon Rudy, we will carry on!!!” Giuliani made an appearance earlier Sunday on Fox News to speak about his legal challenges in several states on behalf of Trump.
