“Cats” To Be Presented By JHS Adv. Theater Group

Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) — The Jamestown High School Advanced Theater Program present the production of “Cats,” June 27, and 28, 2013 at 7-p.m., at the Jamestown High School theater.

On Friday’s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, cast members Brittany McIntyre, Mary Joy and Hunter Carpenter joined us.

Brittany said the play is acted out with music to the poems penned by T.S. Elliot.

She added that “Cats” was the second longest running musical on Broadway running from 1982-2000.

The music is by Andrew Lloyd Webber, with the text by T.S. Elliot.

The production is with permission from R&H Theatricals of New York City.

Tickets at the door are $5 for students and senior citizens and $7 for other adults.
