(NDHP)  On Dec. 24,2020 the NDHP reported a Ford Fusion was traveling east bound about 10:22- p.m.on Highway 46 towards Enderlin. A male driver, Gaige Green, was outside of his Chevrolet Cavalier attempting to push it to Enderlin as it was disabled. The driver of the Ford Fusion, Matthew Nelson, was unable to see the Cavalier. The Ford Fusion struck the Chevrolet Cavalier in the rear trunk area and continued down the driver side. The driver of the Cavalier, 22 year old Gaige Green, od Sheldon, ND was pushing from the front driver side door area. As the impact occurred, the driver of the Cavalier was struck and thrown into the ditch. Both vehicles and the driver of the Cavalier came to rest in the south ditch of Highway 46.  Gaige Green, was transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo to be treated for serious injuries sustained in the crash.

Also injured in the crash were: 19 year old Carly Cavett of Fargo and 22 year old Matthrw Nelson of Casselton.

Assisting at the scene were the Ransom Co. Sheriff’s Office, Enderlin Fire Dept, and Lisbon Ambulance.

The crash is under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
