Litchville (NDHP) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports a two vehicle crash on Monday about 4:30-p.m. damaged two vehicles east of Litchville, westbound on Highway 46.
The report says a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze operated by A 17 year old female from Enderlin was traveling westbound on Highway 46. A 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by 25 year old Caleb Dorich of LaMoure was traveling northbound on Highway 1. The Cruze didn’t see the northbound vehicle and entered the intersection marked with a stop sign to cross Highway 1. The Monte Carlo struck the back of the Cruze with the front driver side. The Cruze was towed from the scene and the Monte Carlo was driven to the gas station located just south of the intersection .
No injuries reported.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
The female Cruze driver was cited for car required.
The Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Barnes County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
