Todd Larry Radenz, 49, Jamestown, ND died Friday March 26, 2021 at Sydney, MT.
Todd was born July 27, 1971 in Kenmare, ND, the son of Larry and Patsy (Myren) Radenz. He spent his childhood years in Bowbells, ND, during his junior year in high school the family moved to Bismarck. Todd graduated from Bismarck High School in 1990.
He entered the National Guard the day after graduation. Todd served two tours, one in Desert Storm and a 15-month tour in Iraq. He retired from the Guards with 21 years of service.
Todd and Mary Thompson were married December 27, 1997 in Sherwood, ND. They made their home in Jamestown where he worked at the James River Correctional Center and later the City of Jamestown. He then began working for the ND DOT at Jamestown, later transferring to Center and then transferring to Watford City.
He was a member of the Combat Vets Motorcycle Association; had several rides with this group and Mary joined him on a long ride last fall. He was also a member of the VFW and DAV. Todd was involved with the construction of the ND Veterans Cemetery at Mandan and the ND Veterans Home in Lisbon.
Todd is survived by his wife, Mary, son, Wyatt, daughter, Morgan, mother, Patsy (Larry) Berg, father Larry (Sue) Radenz, sister, Teresa (Thomas) Johnson, 2 brothers, Tommy (Stephanie) Radenz and Tony (Tina) Radenz, and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters- in law.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Adolph and Louise Myren, paternal grandparents, Clarence and Vi Radenz, mother and father in-law, Darold and Margaret Thompson.
Visitation – 2:00: 5:00 PM Wednesday @ the Haut Funeral Home, Jamestown
Prayer Service – 7:00 PM Wednesday @ the church
Funeral Service – 1:30 PM Thursday April 1, 2021 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown
Burial – ND Veteran’s Cemetery, Mandan, ND
