(JPD)  Jamestown Police reports a Jamestown man was arrested Tuesday evening following   a brief pursuit in Northwest Jamestown around 8:30-p.m.

Jamestown Police Assistant Police Chief,  Major Justin Blinsky reports that due to road conditions, officers used caution in proceeding with the pursuit.

Police units, lost sight of the vehicle, but then quickly learned the vehicle was somewhere in the Northwest part of Jamestown. Officers then attempted to make contact with the vehicle owner

The driver was identified as 33 year-old Cody Allen Buchanan of Jamestown.  He was arrested on suspicion of fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer, reckless driving, and exhibition driving.

The investigation continues by Jamestown Police.

Buchanan has posted $1,250 in bond.
