The Legal Thriller Set in Alexandria releases on August 7^th

In a news release provided by  Tara Kapp of Jamestown, Driscoll is a successful and beloved ‘elder statesman’ in Alexandria, Minnesota, who founded and runs a huge heavy-truck leasing company.

However, unknown to pretty much everyone, his commitment to business ethics is… ‘Don’t get caught’.

When the latest legal thriller by  Stoudt  gets underway, Victor’s sons, Kelly and Ryan, have been brought in to make it right after a huge case of fraud is revealed. Kelly runs a number of local businesses, and does have a moral compass. Ryanis a Stillwater attorney, determined to preserve his father’s ‘good guy’ legacy.

They recruit foul-mouthed and offensive Margaret Kratski as office manager / investigator, and Donna Carlasccio, a former Marine with anger issues, as their muscle.

Margaret admits that she’s been fired by more bosses than she can count, and Donna is reputed to have actually killed more bad guys with her Sig Sauer in close combat, than with her Marine-issue M16. What could go wrong?

Author Jamie Stoudt grew up in Jamestown, North Dakota, and currently lives in Stillwater, Minnesota, close to his son, daughter, and seven grandkids. His son and daughter are featured on the cover of the new book.

Stoudt says he got so close to his characters in “Don’t Get Caught,” he decided to write a sequel, before moving on to other topics, and thus his third novel, “Donna Carlasccio,” continues the storyline from “Don’t Get Caught,” as they move down to Stillwater.

That book is set for release in November 2021.

Stoudt’s next effort, “The Man Under the Moon,” delves into the lives of the first colonists on the moon, and is expected to be in print in the spring of 2022.
