Fargo (Valley News Live) – Fargo Police arrested 59-year-old Keven Bruhschwein of Moorhead after he barricaded himself inside a Fargo motel room for more than four hours Thursday morning.
Police say Bruhschwein was armed with a knife at the Super 8 Motel, located at 3518 Interstate Boulevard. The call came in just before 4:00 a.m.
Guests were evacuated from their rooms and a security perimeter was set up as officers tried to establish communication with Bruhschwein.
The Red River Valley SWAT Team used a flash bang and was able to take Bruhschwein into custody around 8:40 a.m. He was taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation and later charged with terrorizing, preventing arrest, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and two unrelated warrants.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Police have evacuated a Fargo motel as they deal with an armed man who barricaded himself inside. Authorities say the man has a knife and is contained to his room at the at the Super 8 Motel Thursday. Police have established a perimeter around the motel as they try to negotiate with the man. So far they have not been successful in communicating with him. The Red River Valley SWAT team has been called to the motel.
