West Palm Beach Fla. (UJ) — The second-ranked University of Jamestown women’s volleyball team finished play at the Keiser Volleyball Invitational with two more sweeps Thursday, defeating Indiana University-East and William Carey University.

Key Stats: The Jimmies hit above .300 as a team once again, outhitting Indiana University-East .336 to .111. UJ made just 11 errors and finished with 47 kills in 107 attempts. Anna Holen (JR/LaMoure, N.D.) (14 kills) and Kalli Hegerle (JR/West Fargo, N.D.) (12) were the main offensive threats for the Jimmies, while Corina Huff (SR/Pequot Lakes, Minn.) (7) and Jayla Ritter (JR/Forest Lake, Minn.) (5) combined for 12 kills of their own. Jackie Meiklejohn (JR/Dickey, N.D.) passed out 22 assists and Megan Gaffaney (JR/Jamestown, N.D.) 17. Anna Holen and Ellie Holen (FR/LaMoure, N.D.) had 14 digs on defense while Hannah Schiele (JR/Jamestown, N.D.) was also in double figures with 11. Ritter finished with five total blocks.

Key Stats: For the fourth straight match, the Jimmies did not concede a set to their opponent, and finished with a .333 team hitting percentage. A balanced attack was the key for UJ, with six players finishing with seven or more kills. Kalli Hegerle led the way with nine, followed by Corina Huff and Jayla Ritter with eight, and the trio of Taylor Sabinash (JR/Kensal, N.D.), Aleah Zieske (FR/Spicer, Minn.), and Anna Holen each put seven balls to the floor. Jackie Meiklejohn passed out a season-high 30 assists with Megan Gaffaney adding 14. Ellie Holen racked up 20 digs and Anna Holen 18. Huff finished with four total blocks
