Valley City  (CSi)  The annual Red Knights 9-11 tribute ride on Sunday, September 12.

Valley City Fire Chief Scott Magnuson points out that the annual Red Knights 9-11 tribute ride is “Our way of honoring those who lost their lives. “(in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.”)

Before the ride there will be  ceremony to remember those who lost their lives.

Registration for the 9-11 tribute ride is Sunday, September 12 from 10-am to noon at the Fire Hall in Valley City, with  a light lunch  served prior to ride. The ride starts at noon and. A  supper at the Valley City Eagles Club after the.

Money raised from the tribute ride is distributed to families and businesses in the area who lost their property in a fire.

Of the 2,977 people lost their lives when the World Trade Center towers collapsed in New York City on September 11th, 2001, , 412 were first responders including 343 firefighters and 60 police officers.
