Bismarck  (NDHP)  The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the names of those involved in a fatal crash Monday afternoon, November 1, six miles east of Gwinner.

The report says a 2011 Ford Fusion operated by 36 year old  Ashly Odegard of Milnor, was traveling eastbound on Highway 13 at around 4:30 p.m. when the car approached a 1996 Peterbilt semi with a trailer driven by 77-year-old Robert Faber of Milnor,  that had slowed to turn left on 137 Ave. SE.

The Fusion struck the Peterbilt truck and trailer in the rear, coming to rest in the eastbound lane.  Odegard was transported by Milnor ambulance and intercepted by Lisbon Ambulance. She was pronounced deceased from her injuries.

Faber was not injured. The crash remains under investigation.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol was assisted by the Sargent County Sheriff’s Department, Milnor Ambulance, Milnor Fire Department, and Lisbon Ambulance.
