Jamestown  (CSi) On Friday Nov 5 at 2 pm,  the Jamestown Rescue Squad and Jamestown Rural Fire Department were called to the scene, where a male subject had gotten his hand caught in a baler.  The location was  a farm in the 7400 block of 30th Street, Southeast.

Jamestown City Fire Department, Fire Inspector, Grant Christianson says, the man’s hand was still caught in the baler, when the units arrived.

Jamestown Rural Fire Department crews assisted the Rescue Squad in freeing the man’s hand.

His extent of his injury was not immediately available.

He was stabilized on scene  by Jamestown Area Ambulance Service. and then life-flighted from the scene to a Fargo hospital.

Six Jamestown Rescue Squad members were on scene, while six firefighters were on standby at the city fire hall on standby, but were not needed at the scene.
