Jamestown  (CSi) Nov. 6, 2021 –  The Jamestown Walmart Superstore  posted a sign at the main entrance door indicating that the store would be closed from 2 pm Sat Nov 6,  and  closed Sunday,  opening  again at 6am Monday.

The notice states the store is closed for additional cleaning and stocking.

In a News Release, Walmart media relations spokesman, Tyler Thomason  said  “As you know, several areas across the country have seen a renewed increase in positive COVID-19 cases, and we want to assist health officials working against the pandemic.  In support of this effort, we have chosen to temporarily close our Jamestown, store location as part of a company-initiated program. This will allow extra time for a third-party specialist to further sanitize the store and will also give our associates additional time to restock shelves and prepare the store to once again serve the community.”
