Accumulating snow is likely across much of North Dakota Saturday
morning through Sunday morning. Heavier snowfall is favored
across northern areas of the state, where a Winter Storm Watch is
in effect. Areas south of the Missouri River and along the
Interstate 94 corridor will also see accumulating snowfall,
though how much remains uncertain. A narrow band of moderate to
heavy snow is expected to develop north and east of Lake Sakakawea
Saturday afternoon through Saturday night, though exact locations
of heavier snow in this region are uncertain. Additionally, gusty
winds may cause blowing and drifting snow, with lower visibility
at times.
