Jamestown  (CSi)  Jamestown Police is enforcing the 48 hour parking limitation during the winter months, to aid city street crews in snow removal.

Vehicles parked on the street slow the snow removal process and can make the streets of Jamestown more dangerous

Jamestown Police marks vehicle tires for 48-hour parking.

Two days after the tires are marked, officers check and issue parking citations for any vehicle that hasn’t moved. If a vehicle is in violation it can be towed.

Jamestown city Ordinances address  overtime parking on the street or not clearing snow and ice from sidewalks…. a violation and a Class B misdemeanor punishable by a fine and possible jail
