Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) — The Jamestown Dairy Queen, Orange Julius location at 330 Business Loop West, is participating in the eighth annual Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013.
Participating locations will donate $1 or more of the proceeds from the day’s Blizzard® sales and Blizzard® coupon sales to
Children’s Miracle Network benefitting Sanford Children’s.
The public is invited to stop by their local Dairy Queen and order a Blizzard®, which in turn will benefit local sick and injured children. “Miracle Treat Day” is an opportunity for the public to savor a sweet treat support Sanford Children’s Hospitals in both Fargo and Sioux Falls, each region’s only Children’s Miracle Network hospital.
Last year’s Miracle Treat Day raised more than $186,000 for Sanford Children’s Hospitals in Sioux Falls and Fargo. Since 1984, Dairy Queen has raised more than $97 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals– making it one of the top-five contributors to the charity.
