An area of snow will spread east across the area on Thursday ahead of a warm front and low pressure system. Snow will spread into Devils Lake Thursday morning and into northwestern Minnesota by early afternoon. Expect a few hours of snow, followed by warmer air moving in turning the snow to light rain and drizzle in eastern North Dakota and the Red River valley by late in the day. Temperatures by late in the day will range from low 30s in Bemidji and Baudette to upper 30s in eastern North Dakota. Snow will be last the longest and be heaviest in NW Minnesota where the best chances for 2 inches or more exist.
