Large North Dakota company watching Ukraine developments
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota company is keeping close tabs on the situation in Ukraine, where thousands of people are fleeing the country as Russia continues to pound the capital and other cities with airstrikes and ground forces. West Fargo-based Titan Machinery has filed a report with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which requires updates to announce major events that shareholders should know about. The company says it is most concerned about the well-being of its employees. Titan Machinery has about 16 locations in Ukraine. Meanwhile, North Dakota’s congressional delegation is trying to help a farmer from Ashley who is currently detained in Ukraine. Kurt Groszhans has been accused of plotting to assassinate a senior Ukrainian official. The lawmakers say Groszhans should be released.
