The 2022 Volvo tractor trailer, driven by Balbahadur Aulakh, 42, from Winnipeg, MB was south bound on I-29 near MM 82, approximately 3 miles south of Gardner. The semi partially entered the west ditch, and Mr. Aulakh took evasive action to get back onto the road. The trailer the semi was pulling, which was fully loaded, remained in the west ditch causing the semi-truck and trailer to slide. Mr. Aulakh suffer only minor injuries. Rohit Kumar, 34 of Winnipeg, MB was a passenger in sleeper berth sleeping Mr. Kumar was doing Co-driving duty.
