Phil Kleymann and Cole Christensen received the endorsement to run as Representatives in the North Dakota Legislature during the upcoming June 14th primary election by the District 24 Republican party.

The news release from Phil Kleymann states:

“To the people of District 24, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Phil Kleymann; my wife Tammy and I live in Valley City. I am currently retired from a small business that I operated with my son and partner. Before venturing into small business ownership, I worked for UPS Freight as a driver trainer-safety director. In fact, in those days, my radio handle was “Fargo Phil.”

One of my great joys is working in Christian ministry, so, consequently, my wife and I are involved in youth ministry, bible teaching, jail ministry, and Christian camps. Because of my busy lifestyle, the political arena was the farthest thing from my mind. However, during the fall of 2016, we decided to volunteer for our local District 24 Republican party. This was an easy first step as I’ve always considered myself an adherent to the principles laid out by Ronald Reagan. If you labeled me politically, you could say I’m a “Reaganite”!

What prompted us to get more involved in the political realm, like many other North Dakotans, was witnessing the constant assault on the moral foundations of our great nation. We watched the relentless assassination of traditional values and anyone who dared to uphold them. Thomas Jefferson said, “We in America do not have government by the majority-we have government by the majority who participate. All tyranny needs to gain foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.” Those words are just as relevant today as they were then, which is why we decided to participate at a higher level, so we became members of the District 24 Republicans Executive Committee. Since then, we have actively served through two election cycles through fundraising, conventions, campaigning, and parades.

I have accepted the party endorsement to run for the North Dakota House of Representatives. I promise I won’t be a man full of surprises. I was raised in a large family by parents who taught their children the value of your word and work. I am a man who lives by a biblical worldview. Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my word will never pass away” Matt 24:35. In other words, the world dissolves, the word of God remains! The only safe way forward for an individual or nation is to hold fast to that faithful word. Everything else has an expiration date. Great nations don’t die; they commit suicide.

If elected, I make the people of District 24 this solemn promise that when the lights are on in Bismarck, and the road is open, I’ll be there to represent them. I will show up for work! I look forward to meeting you on the campaign trail.”

Sincerely, Phil Kleymann

Valley City  (CSi)   Representative Cole Christensen has released a statement to the people of North Dakota’s District 24.

“In early 2020 as the world was thrown into unprecedented uncertainty due the spread of COVID-19, I sat watching in horror as the virus was weaponized by opportunistic politicians to consolidate power and strip us of our freedoms. Understandably, this feeling of helplessness and fear was present throughout our community as businesses were forced to close, our schools were shut down, and our very livelihoods put in jeopardy. The excessive government overreach at all levels could no longer go unchallenged. It was clear that something had to be done. I knew it was my time to step up and fight for North Dakota as a Representative from District 24. My goal was to restore the rights of The People as guaranteed by the State and Federal Constitutions.

In March of 2020, I announced my run for the North Dakota House of Representatives for these very reasons. I stood with The People of District 24 to demand an end to the unconstitutional shutdowns. I fought to restore the legislative balance of powers in our 7 boundary Republic for the simple fact that here in North Dakota, we don’t elect dictators.

In my first term, with the passing of my resolution HCR 3049, ND was the first in the nation to declare Parents as the primary stakeholders and chief caretakers over their child’s future. I spoke for those without a voice defending the unborn’s right to live giving me a 100% rating from ND Right to Life. We believe the Family is the backbone to our country, which is why I voted in favor of every pro-traditional family value bill and earned a 100% rating from the ND Family Alliance. I earned the conservative excellence rating of 91% from the American Conservative Union and accepted my award at CPAC. My plan of attack was not to sit at home. I showed up, put in the work, and represented our values.

I’m asking you, The People of District 24, to trust me once again as your voice in Bismarck. Together, we will continue to be a champion for parents’ rights, and traditional family values. We will fight against corrosive forces that constantly threaten our 2nd amendment. We will push for pro-life causes to end abortion once and for all. We will continue to represent conservative values and the principles of freedom. You elected me in 2020 because of who I said I was. Based on my voting record, I did my best to prove you right. With your continued support, we will have a bright future here in North Dakota because like many of you, I am willing to show up and fight for it.”

Yours truly and Mutually Pledged.

Cole Christensen.
