Valley City (NDHP) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports, a rollover crash occurred east of Valley City near a railroad bridge at 118th Avenue Southeast, around 7:30 am on Tuesday March 29.

Driver No. 1: Hunter Gwilliams,19-year-old male, Valley City, ND, Minor Injury
Restraints: No seatbelt
Charges: Driving under the influence (DUI)
Passenger No. 1: Jennifer Anderson, 19-year-old female, Oriska, ND, Injured
Restraints: Seatbelt in use
Passenger No. 2: 16-year-old male, Valley City, ND, Injured
Restraints: No seatbelt
Passenger No. 3: Cody Phillips, 23-year-old male, Valley City, ND, Injured

The report says, a 19 year-old male driver from Valley City was traveling east bound at an excessive speed on a gravel roadway in a 1992 Chevrolet pickup. The driver lost control and entered the south ditch of 118th Avenue Southeast. The pickup overturned and came to rest on its driver side.
The driver who suffered undisclosed injuries was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
All three passengers were transported by ambulance to CHI Mercy Hospital in Valley City for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
Barnes County Sheriff’s Deputies and Valley City Police officers assisted the Highway Patrol at the crash scene along with the Barnes County Ambulance.
