The house on 5th Av NW Jamestown, that burned April 23, 2022, was being torn down Tuesday Oct 25.

Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown City Fire Department responded to a house fire at 1414 5th Ave NW at 12:46am Saturday April 23. A passerby called in the fire. The home owners were out of state when the fire occurred.
Chief Ruther of the Jamestown City Fire Department, reports Seven units were on scene including Ladder One, which was used to fight the roof fire. There were 21 firemen. Time on scene was 3 hours. No injured fire fighters.
Then, city firefighters were called back to the location later Saturday morning at 6:03 am for one hour, due to the fire rekindling on the roof. 5 units responded to this call.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
