ANIMATION with Sam Larson • June 6 – 9 • Open to students who have completed grades 2nd – 5th (2022-23 school year 3rd – 6th)
CERAMICS with Gratia Brown • June 6 – 9; June 13 – 16 • $150. Completed grades 6 – 8 (2022-23 school year 7th – 9th) Students learn the basics of centering and forming vessels on the wheel. Students explore basic glaze application techniques such as resists and sgraffito. Additional projects in hand building and found objects as time allows. Space is limited.

PRAY PAINTING WITH LINDA & DUSTIN SATURDAY, MAY 21 STARTING AT 5:00 PM
Learn to create fantastical art using spray paint! Students will make their own outer space scene or earthly landscape using common spray paint techniques. Then, use Posca paint pens or oil pastels to add additional details and line work to your spray painted masterpiece. Beginners to advanced artists are welcome! We will be working outside, so dress accordingly.

PRINTMAKING with April Symes • June 27 – 30 Designed for students who have completed grades 2nd – 5th (2022-23 school year 3rd – 6th)
Dive into the art of printmaking! Carve into linoleum, cut out a stencil or make a relief design to create ‘stamps’ and impressions. Campers will also learn how to use a press to make multiples! Kids will leave class with a series of prints and a new appreciation for printmaking!

SPRAY PAINT STREET ART with Linda Roesch • July 11 – 14 Designed for students who have completed grades 2nd – 5th (2022-23 school year 3rd – 6th) from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm or grades 6 – 8 (2022-23 school year 7th – 9th) from 5:00 – 7:30 pm
Students will work with artist grade spray paint and will learn about different nozzle types, stenciling, and common tools used to create a variety of special effects. Students will create large collaborative and interactive pieces to be on display at Downtown Arts Market on Thursday night, along with their own smaller pieces to take home.
