The Ford Explorer driven by Alinder was southbound on 127th Avenue SE in
the 7200 block. At this location, 127th Avenue SE is closed due to a culvert washout caused by erosion. The Explorer entered the washout and the front of the vehicle struck the opposite embankment, coming to rest at impact. Occupants of the vehicle were not wearing seat belts and sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries. Sanford AirMed transported three of the patients, utilizing two helicopters and one fixed-wing aircraft. The crash remains under investigation by the ND Highway Patrol
Assisting in the crash were Ransom County SO, Sargent County SO, Lisbon PD, Lisbon Ambulance,
Milnor Ambulance, Casselton Ambulance, Sanford Airmed, and Lisbon Fire Department.
Driver was Wesley Alinder, 43 , Lisbon, ND, Passenger No. 1: Wesley Alinder, 18, Lisbon, and three Juveniles two 14 yr old, and a 15 yr old
