Michael Guthmiller, age 51, passed away May 17 under hospice at Eventide in Jamestown.
Mike was born on October 30, 1970, in Jamestown, to Richard Guthmiller and Joyce (Ova) Guthmiller.
After growing up in Jamestown, “Opie” pursued an autobody career, through Wapheton. He worked in Fargo and Jamestown in autobody, welding, auto supply, car washing, and lawncare, and enjoyed driving tow truck for the Jamestown Speedway. He had a passion for bikes and cars, his friends, family, and notably a “love” for his car collections.
“Opie ” is survived by his two brothers, Tim (Tina) Guthmiller, West Fargo; and Joel (Lori) Guthmiller, Jamestown. Also, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews, and many true friends.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, May 20, 2022 at Eddy Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 21 at 1st Church of the Nazarene, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Gus Lopez officiating. Interment will be in Highland Home Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Jamestown Hospice.
