Fargo June 1, 2022:  A 39-year-old Fargo man is dead following a three vehicle crash on Interstate 94 Wednesday afternoon.

A 2007 Chevrolet Suburban that was towing a car dolly with a 2013 Fiat passenger attached had been westbound on I-94 and was exiting onto northbound I-29. There was an issue with the car dolly and the driver of the Suburban had stopped on the shoulder of the off-ramp. The driver and passenger of Suburban had exited and were standing at the rear of the Suburban.
Shortly thereafter, a Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by Shandi Cordner, rear ended the Fiat and car dolly. The Fiat and car dolly were pushed forward and struck the occupants of the Suburban.

Don Keplin, the driver of the Suburban suffered serious injuries in the crash. He was transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo by Sanford Ambulance. Lucas Azure, the passenger of the Suburban suffered serious injuries in the crash. He was transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The driver of the Pontiac Grand Prix, Shandi Cordner, was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and was booked into the Cass County Jail. Additional charges are pending.  This crash remains under investigation by the ND Highway Patrol.
