Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown, Citywide Buffalo Days Celebration is July 22-24.

Originally called White Cloud days in honor of the albino buffalo’s legacy, the event still features historic sites, businesses, and visitors to celebrate the Buffalo City’s namesake.

Retro Replay of past parades air on CSi TV 10 – The Replay Channel.

The weekend-long celebration starts with the Jamestown United Way “This Putts For U” golf tournament Friday, July 22nd. Saturday will see a full day of events beginning with the Jamestown Fire Department pancake breakfast, starting at 7 a.m. at the Jamestown Fire Department serving until noon. The 11th annual breakfast features sausage, pancakes, Cavendish potato rounds, milk, juice, water and coffee.followed by the Buffalo Days parade. Parade entries do not need to register and should line up at McElroy Park behind Cash Wise and the ball diamonds starting at 8 a.m. The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. and will head north from McElroy Park on 2nd Avenue to 8th Street Southeast. It will then turn west on 8th Street to First Avenue and continue north on First Avenue, ending by Sabir’s Buffalo Grill.

The Jamestown Arts Center holds the Mini Art Hunt, begining at 10 a.m. The clues will be released starting then on The Arts Center’s Facebook page and if you find a piece, it’s yours to keep.

Historic sites features including the civics exhibit at the 1883 Stutsman County Courthouse, Tent City and living history demonstrations at Fort Seward, and more.
