Jamestown (UJ) — The University of Jamestown has hired Amy Golding, a member of the New York Section 2 Wrestling Hall of Fame, to be the new women’s wrestling head coach.
Golding join the Jimmies program after graduating from State University of New York College at Brockport, New York, in 2010, where she wrestled for the men’s team. After graduating, Golding fought in regional mixed martial arts promotion, Cage Wars, eventually being crowned the atomweight (105 lbs) champion. Golding is also a junior world bronze medalist in women’s wrestling and a 16-time USANational Champion.
