Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Rural Fire Department was called out Wednesday morning to a report of hay bales on fire south of Jamestown, just before 8-a.m.. at 521 76th Ave. SE to where about 225 round bales were on fire.

Rural Fire Chief Brian Paulson reports eight trucks and 18 firefighters were on scene for just under an hour and a half. The cause the fire was listed the hay bales holding moisture that were heated and self-combusted.
