Jamestown (CSi) Meeting in Special Session Thursday, The Jamestown City Council discussed final details on the 2023 preliminary budget. The preliminary budget was sent to the August 1 City Council meeting for final approval. The council will vote on the budget October 3 following a public hearing in September.
The proposed 2023 budget includes more than $9.61 million in general fund revenue and more than $9.48 million in expenditures.
A deficit, is planned, but the same number of mills.
Predicted expenditures in the budget include increased fuel prices, oil and diesel, electricity, and heating for city buildings and entities.
