Sheyenn, ND. (NDHP) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified a Sheyenne, ND man who was killed after he struck the back of a parked vehicle while driving an Off-Highway Vehicle in Sheyenne on Saturday, July 23 about 2:25am.

The Patrol identified the crash victim as 60-year-old Keith Drake.

NARRATIVE: The Can-Am was traveling northbound on 2nd Street North. North of the
intersection with Riverside Avenue, the Can-Am struck a parked commercial motor vehicle.
The driver, Keith Drake, was ejected and was pronounced deceased at CHI St. Alexius Hospita
Vehicle No. 1: 2013 Can-Am Outlander.

Agencies Involved: NDHP, Eddy County Sheriff’s Office, Benson County Sheriff’s Office,
Bureau of Indian Affairs – Fort Totten Agency, New Rockford Fire Department, Sheyenne Fire
Department, and New Rockford Ambulance.
