Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) — The Jamestown Academy of Mixed Martial Arts, presents a FREE Women’s Defense Seminar, “Fight Like A Girl,” on Sat Aug 24 from 2PM – 5PM, at the Jamestown Civic Center, Exhequor Room.
On Friday’s (Aug 16, 2013) Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Martin Kloster said the mixed martial arts academy is located at the Park Plaza Mall in Jamestown, with instruction on various aspects of the martial arts.
The seminar on August 24th at the Civic Center is geared to teach beginning fundamental techniques.
Also on our show from the Academy, Joshua Keester said those self defense moves include breaking holds, striking, and more.
Kloster added that the seminar is free, thanks monetary support of several local businesses.
He said in these times, women, and girls should be taught at least the basics of self defense.
