Carrington (CSi) Carrington will continue partnering with Foster County providing assessing services to the community.

Mayor Tom Erdmann says the agreement was reached when the state informed them they were required to have at least 80 hours of work for a hired assessor.

The County increased the cost from $7,500 to $15,000 in 2023. The Carrington City Council approved the contract on Monday, Aug. 8.

Mayor Erdmann says it also approved transferring $300,000 from their additional 1-percent city sales tax towards the street project from 2014.
