Valley City (NDHP) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that two semis ran off the Interstate 94 roadway on Thursday, August 18th east of Valley City about 4:12pm. One semi was in traveling westbound before the driver lost control and slid of the roadway. A second semi traveling eastbound lost control and entered the eastbound ditch.

Highway Patrol Captain Bryan Niewind reports, a 2013 Kenworth FedEx commercial motor vehicle towing double trailers left the roadway near I-94 MM 296 and jackknifed into the eastbound ditch. He said the vehicle was occupied by a driver and co-driver. 43-year-old Christian Asomontsi of West Fargo, ND, was cited for Care Required in the crash.

The second semi that left the roadway and entered the ditch. No serious injuries were reported.

Valley City – (CSi) Authorities are investigating a semi crash Thursday about 4pm when the driver lost control of his vehicle in the eastbound lane of I-94 near mile marker 296.

The semi slid off the roadway, jack-knifed coming to rest in the south ditch.
