jamestownAirportsign002Bismarck, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Aug 19, 2013)  –Four airports set records for July passenger boardings as the state overall increased by 12%. Dickinson and Williston, boosted by additional flights, set records for any month, while Fargo and Grand Forks had their best July on record. Minot continued to board three times the passengers of just five years ago, and Bismarck continued its steady increase.

Jamestown July 2013 boardings were 247 Compared to 218 in July 2012.  On a recent Wayne Byers Show, on CSi Cable 2, Jamestown Regional Airport Manager, Matt Leitner said, August boardings are lookin strong.

North Dakota Aeronautics Commission Director Larry Taborsky stated, “We now have double the number of passengers flying from North Dakota airports than we did 10 years ago. Every airport project which improves our passenger-handling capacity is a blessing, and makes for a better national airport system.”
