Valley City (CSi) A pickup towing a trailer crashed Sunday morning about 9:35am east bound on I-94 near Valley City.

The driver escaped serious injury when he lost control of his vehicle while pulling the trailer.

The driver said that while he was traveling eastbound with the cruise control engaged, the vehicle hit new asphalt on the interstate and the trailer slide out and caused the vehicle to flip and roll into the south ditch.

No injuries were reported.
