Jamestown (CSi) A quilt is being raffled to raise money to assist with expenses in repainting the World’s Largest Buffalo.

Dakota Store’s Deb Lee in Jamestown says they’re helping oversee the raffle.

Lee points out that over 36 t-shirts were used, that have Jamestown and buffalo references on them. Mary Geffery helped design and stitch the quilt.

The quilt is on display at the Frontier Village Dakota Store site due to the amount of traffic and current or former Jamestown residents who stop by the store.

Raffle tickets will be sold through September with a drawing on October 3, 2033. Tickets can be purchased from the Dakota Store in Jamestown at 601 1st Avenue, South, Frontier Village Dakota Store, or by callingDeb Lee at (701) 269-2689.
