Jamestown (CSi) The Stutsman County Tuesday voted to accept the national opioid settlement allocation.
Stutsman County State’s Attorney Fritz Fremgen says the county joined the class action lawsuit late in 2021 in line with the North Dakota Attorney General’s office.
Fremgen recommended the county approve to accept the allocation and use the funding for opioid abatement. He added he will look at how the funding could be used in the county.
The commission unanimously approved to accept the settlement amount of $4,366.49
