(CSi) Stutsman County departments are requesting a 10.6 percent wage increase, rather than a 6 percent increase.
Department heads told the Stutsman County Commission on Tuesday, that they are having with worker shortages, leading to many hours of overtime.
The Stutsman County Commission recently approved a 4-percent cost-of-living adjustment and 2-percent step raise.
The county commission took no action on the request for the wage increase to 10.6%.
