Valley City (CSi) The Valley City community has been very generous in their contributions towards the $10,000 Matching Fun Challenge by the “Anonymous Couple” for the Barnes County Museum.
Curator Wes Anderson said thanks to a contribution of $5,000 from the Fraternal Order of Eagles Valley City Aerie No 2192, we’re over the top of our $10,000 matching funds challenge.
He said while we can’t say that the financial needs of the Society are fully met (contributions are always needed) for the $10,000 matching fund challenge part of things, we’ve accomplished it.
Anderson said thank you everyone who stepped up to answer the challenge of the “Anonymous Couple.” We thank them for their generosity and encouragement of others to give. We hope others will continue to help us keep doing what we do best, serving the Barnes County Community by preserving and sharing our rich history with everyone Anderson stated.
