Valley City (CCHD) The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is recommending that everyone six months of age or older get an influenza vaccine each year before the end of October.

City County Health District spokeswoman Kerry Due adds, the new pneumonia vaccine is available at their office in Valley City.

She said vaccinations for pneumonia and influenza in a single appointment.

City County Health offers flu shots to businesses, churches, day cares and schools throughout Barnes County. To schedule an appointment call 845-8518.
