Jamestown (CSi) Voters who cannot make it to the polls November 7, 2022 and wanting to cast their ballots early, can do so as absentee voting is underway in North Dakota.

The last day to drop off absentee ballots at Stutsman County Courthouse is November 7. Those mailinng are mailing ballot back, must be postmarked by that day.

Stutsman County Auditor Jessica Alonge state, says, “Any applications we had in the office for the General Election will be sent in the mail Thursday. Absentee ballots must be returned and postmarked by Monday, November 7. Dropboxes are available in the Courthouse entry from 8-5 Monday through Friday beginning (September 29.”)

Absentee ballots can be requested at stutsmancounty.gov

Early voting in Stutsman County will begin October 31 and goes until November 4 from 8 AM to 5 PM at the Courthouse.

All residents of Stutsman County can vote at the Civic Center on Election Day, November 8. The Civic Center is located at 212 3rd Ave NE in Jamestown. All residents may also take advantage of the Early Voting Precinct located at the Stutsman County Courthouse, 511 2nd Ave SE, Jamestown.

On Election Day, residents in Precinct 472910, located in the western part of the County, also have can vote at the American Legion in Medina.

County races include three Stutsman County Commissioner seats, state’s attorney, and sheriff.

Statewide, voters will be deciding whether to legalize recreational marijuana and whether to impose term limits on state lawmakers and the governor. One U.S. Senate Seat, and North Dakota’s lone U.S, Congressional are up for election.
